Behind the Scenes Pt. 2 – Focusing On Clarity

As an authorized Essilor distributor, Cherry formulates and processes world-class leading Crizal No-Glare lenses at our onsite facility. The Crizal coatings are known for their anti-static qualities and are made of multiple layers, allowing for decreased reflections, easier cleaning, and improved light transmission for clearer vision. For Part 2 of our close up, Jake and Kyle took the short trip down the block and spent the morning dancing around the speed and agility of our AR Operations facility. With extra people in their way, numerous tripods, and an average day's workload [gallery size="medium" ids="https://big.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/cherryoptical/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/20160711_085937.jpg|,https://big.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/cherryoptical/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/20160711_093222.jpg|,https://big.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/cherryoptical/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/20160711_095309.jpg|,https://big.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/cherryoptical/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/20160711_091944.jpg|"] Over the next few weeks, we’ll put together a couple of short videos that offer a deeper look into each of the major areas of production. In fact, we spent most the day yesterday filming with Baer Performance Marketing. They started off with a few wider shots and then subjected a GoPro to the insides of our machinery. Jake was only nervous about his camera for a minute; then when we got the shot, it was all fun and games. Peering into the innards of these complex machines could have been dangerous, but our experienced personnel spent plenty of time educating everyone about their inner workings. By focusing on the hands-on skills of our craftsman and top-notch technology we’ll have the ability to show you a true close up of what happens to a lens behind the scenes during production.
